Terms of Use
Last updated: September 2026 (v1)
1. What Csoportal is
Csoportal provides (a) a public directory of independent Clinical Safety Officers and (b) a subscription workspace for clinical safety management. Csoportal is an independent platform: it is not an NHS service, is not an NHS directory, and does not claim NHS endorsement.
2. Directory disclaimer
Csoportal is an independent professional directory and does not endorse or certify individual Clinical Safety Officers. Organisations should independently assess the suitability and credentials of any professional they engage. Enquiries are delivered as a service; the platform is not a party to any contract between an organisation and a CSO.
3. Clinical responsibility
The AI assistant provides suggestions only. It never approves hazards, accepts residual risk, declares ALARP, signs clinical safety cases or claims regulatory compliance. Responsibility for clinical safety decisions rests solely with the named Clinical Safety Officer. Output is always labelled: “AI-generated suggestion. Clinical Safety Officer review required.”
4. Acceptable use
- Do not upload patient-identifiable information or clinical records into the platform.
- Do not misrepresent your identity, professional registration or CSO experience.
- Do not use the directory to send unsolicited marketing to CSOs.
- Do not attempt to access projects or data you are not authorised to see.
5. Subscriptions
The directory profile is free. The CSO Pro workspace is provided on a trial basis while payment processing is not yet live; planned pricing is shown on the pricing page. Subscription plans, entitlements and trial states are managed in the platform; checkout will be enabled in a later release without changing workspace access.
6. Availability and liability
The platform is provided “as is” while in v1. To the extent permitted by law, the operators accept no liability for clinical outcomes, regulatory outcomes or losses arising from use of the platform, the directory, or AI-generated content. Clinical and regulatory responsibility remains with the CSO and the organisation.
7. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent via the contact address published on this platform.
